This is the 12-hour psychomotor skills session required for Maryland EMT recertification. Class will be conducted in two six-hour sessions.
PLEASE NOTE – The student will still need 12 hours of continuing education either online through MFRI or physical attendance at several available sessions.
1. Understand the Acute Stress Response Effects That Arise During Conflict (Tunnel Vision, Auditory Exclusion, Learning & Skill Acquisition, Working Memory)
2. Learn Techniques for Reclaiming Strategy When Under Pressure (Emotional Intelligence)
3. Identify Strategies and Tactics for Providing Feedback & Inviting it from others (Exerting Influence vs. Control, Communication Missteps)
