Organizations have ignored the responsibility to develop personnel for succession planning, and prepare their leaders to lead rather than manage. Often it is seen as a bad thing to develop others to your knowledge. We will discuss why this is imperative for a high-performing team and the overall success of the organization. Levels of mastery, leadership styles, and organization culture are just a few of the topics we will cover. This program will expand the leadership abilities of personnel, and provide them with insights, skills and the capabilities to help set-up success for your team/organization.
Objectives:
• Upon completion, the student will understand the 4 levels of mastery.
• At the end of the course, the student will know the difference in a leader and a manager.
• The information provided will make students realize how they or their organization are preparing current and future leaders.
• Students will understand the differences in generations and what motivates them.
