William Holt is a 27-year-old native to southeast Kansas who has served as a fireman in many manners. William got his start in 2008 at District Four Fire Department, a volunteer fire department in southeast Kansas where he currently resides as the Chief. In 2012, he accepted a job offer with Pittsburg Fire Department in Pittsburg Kansas. After serving 5 years as a firefighter/driver with Pittsburg, William accepted a position with Olathe Fire Department where he currently holds the rank of Firefighter. Olathe FD serves 135,000 residents out of 8 stations and they respond to an annual estimate of 13,000 alarms a year. Will has also been a part of the Fools of OZ traveling alongside outstanding instructors to preserve the brotherhood in the fire service through training. Throughout Will’s career he has had the opportunity to move through the ranks in the volunteer and career departments in both a rural and metro setting. This has in turn given Will a very diverse and successful career to date.
